The Empires Dawn - The Equation

So different, yet equal
The medal has two sides
Lost twins torn to eachother
The lizard shines in black and white
Sun and moon/night and day
Wake and dream unite
Earth and air/fire and water
The elements collide

When in your judgement I descend
The hourglass runs out of sand
Like bursting glass our fragments part
But when two pieces fit to lock
Like day and night in equinox
They recognize their counterpart

The poison and the antidote
The beggar and the king
Good and evil/life and death
The loser bound to win
Autumn, spring, winter, summer
Natures symmetry
Duality in all existance
Seperated unity

When in your judgement I descend
The hourglass runs out of sand
Like bursting glass our fragments part
But when two pieces fit to lock
Like day and night in equinox
They recognize their counterpart

Just like a pair of magnets
in attraction
clinging to each other
or do they push apart?
Two chromosomes
for the procreation
The force of gravity
upon planets and stars
The atomic core/nuclear fission
The source of energy/the radiation
Two lobes inside the lung
to keep breathin'/Two chambers
to the heart to keep beating
What if they're kept apart?

When in your judgement I descend
The hourglass runs out of sand
Like bursting glass our fragments part
But when two pieces fit to lock
Like day and night in equinox
They recognize their counterpart
